Erika Tallent
Counselor
My Story
Hello, my name is Erika Tallent, and I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from Walden University. I also earned an Associate of Arts and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from Gordon State College. I am currently working under supervision toward my LPC in Georgia.
I am passionate about providing a safe and supportive space for children and young adults who are navigating behavioral issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, and other challenges that may affect their well-being. I have experience working with children and adolescents with ASD, ADHD, and Behavioral/Mood Disorders, as well as adolescents and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, and behavioral problems. My preferred therapeutic approaches are Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
I believe in meeting clients where they are and partnering with them on their journey toward growth, self-awareness, and empowerment. For those who are open to investing in themselves through therapy, I would be honored to invest in you as well.
