Cristine Flowers
Counselor
My Story
Hello, my name is Cristine Flowers and I am Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida State (Go Noles!) and later completed my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counselling from Argosy University in Sarasota, Florida. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including home based counseling services, community based counseling services and acute inpatient hospitalizations. I have worked in the mental health field for over 14 years.
I have always enjoyed helping people and look forward to helping you cope with whatever you may be struggling with in your life. By being an empathetic and a non-judgmental listening, I aim to assist you in incorporating effective tools in your life, so you can become your best self. My theoretical approach combines Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy with person centered techniques, allowing me to provide personalized care tailored to your needs. Currently, I provide individual counseling services to adolescents and adults at DNM Health Services.
