My Story
Hi, I’m Ashley Reynolds, and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology at Clayton State University (Go Lakers!). As a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) intern at DNM Health Services, I work under the supervision of licensed therapists to provide high-quality care. I also earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Human Services from Clayton State University.
Growing up, I became fascinated by how different life factors influence personal development and mental well-being. This led me to pursue a career in mental health, where I help clients navigate their unique challenges. Some individuals seek a compassionate listener, while others need guidance toward acceptance and change. I’m passionate about supporting my community, empowering clients to feel like the authors of their own stories as they progress on their journeys of growth.
My therapeutic approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy. Psychodynamic therapy explores how childhood experiences impact adult behavior, while CBT focuses on modifying negative thought patterns that contribute to emotional difficulties. By combining these methods, I tailor my approach to meet each client’s specific needs and promote lasting change.
If you’re seeking help with anxiety, depression, or emotional challenges, I’m here to support you with a personalized, compassionate approach.
