My Story
Hello, my name is Candice Mathis, and I am a counselor at DNM Health Services. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I am currently working under the supervision of a licensed therapist as I pursue licensure as an APC and later an LPC.
I have always had a passion for helping others and advocating for mental wellness. My education and training have provided me with the tools to support individuals in becoming the best versions of themselves. Using a foundation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while integrating other therapeutic interventions, my focus is on fostering emotional well-being and helping clients develop healthy coping skills that support healing and personal growth.
My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, supported, and understood. I strive to build a compassionate and trusting therapeutic relationship that empowers individuals throughout their healing journey. I look forward to walking alongside you as you take the next steps toward wellness and growth.
