My Story
Hello, I’m Crystal Tolbert. I hold a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling, specializing in trauma and grief, from Grand Canyon University. I also earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Family Advocacy from Liberty University. My experience includes working with at-risk teens, short-term adult crisis stabilization, and long-term substance rehabilitation for adults. I’m currently under supervision to obtain full licensure at DNM Health Services.
As a single mother and survivor of life’s challenges, I bring personal experience to my passion for helping others overcome adversity and build resilience. I’m an advocate for individuals from all walks of life and am committed to fostering genuine, meaningful therapeutic relationships that inspire hope and healing.
My counseling approach is person-centered and collaborative, focusing on the whole person—spirit, mind, body, and emotions—while also addressing relational and social aspects. With 7 years of counseling experience, I’ve worked in both group and individual settings with young adults, aging adults, and teenagers.
