Farah Southwell is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families in clinic, community, school, and home-based settings. She holds a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Barry University in Miami, Florida. Farah’s approach to therapy is built on kindness, respect, and empathy, with a strong emphasis on cultural sensitivity. She values and respects the diverse opinions, beliefs, and attitudes of different cultures.
Farah specializes in helping individuals cope with depression, anxiety, family conflicts, adjustment challenges, grief and loss, and cultural differences. She is also fluent in French and Haitian Creole.
